Building

The city building complex is represented by 112 building companies of different specialization and also by enterprises, which produce building materials (bricks, different ferroconcrete items).

The infrastructure of the building sphere includes also 3 manufacturing enterprises (closed stock-company “Tavriyska building company", "Yuzhspezbeton", "Department of manufacturing integration"), which produce bricks, assembled concrete structures and reinforced concrete constructions.

25 stores and 26 wholesale warehouses make sales of building materials to enterprises, to companies and private consumers.

During several last years among the group-leaders of building industry have been: private company “Komplektavtodor”, closed stock-company „Yuzhmormontazh”, open stock-company “Industrial-building firm „Khersonbud”, joint company „Diparis”, „BD-453 Company with limited liability „Chornomorgidrobud”, private company „Еvroklas”, private company „Parnas”, interindustrial road-building enterprise.

From 2002 and annually the volume of putting into operation of housing has increased. In 2007 more than 79,3 thousand square meters of housing were put into operation.

To solve the problem of housing in the city the Program of development of housing building in the city of Kherson for 2005-2010 was ratified (decision of City Council, 31.03.05, #764). During 2005-2007 years and the first half of 2008 45 meetings of Workgroup were performed.

At the present moment the activity is being held to insert changes and additions to the Program of development of housing building in the city of Kherson.
